These vacuum bags are just as good if not better than the “name brand” bags you buy at your local store. I hate going from store to store looking for the correct vacuum bag. Save yourself some time and money and stock up. The money you save on these bags will pay for the shipping.

There is little information easily available to figure out which vacuum uses which bag. The Hoover Tempo Widepath U5140-900 bagged upright vacuum came with this bag, and fortunately, it is the same bag that my old Hoover Wind Tunnel also used. Never had any problem with them over a period of eight years. They are sturdy and reliable, not bursting suddenly and flooding the room with dirt, when used properly. Highly recommended.

We have a Hoover Tempo vacuum and were looking for some Type Y replacement bags. I found these bags on Amazon and was amazed by the very good price so I took a chance and ordered some. The bags arrived as promised and appeared to be robust and well made. They fit the Tempo vacuum perfectly as well. After using them for some time my wife, the vacuuming engineer, reports they are “just fine” and comparable to the more expensive bags we had been using. We will be re-ordering these bags when needed. When it comes to finances, I believe every bit of savings helps and we did save money by buying these bags.

The product “Number” 40201160 is a bit confusing, and the description should be made to denote that product “Number” 40201160 is Hoover’s product number for a PACKAGE OF TWO 38528-033 or 38528033, belts. Having received shipment, and confirming that these were the exact replacement item, I have to say that this is a ‘no-brainer’ with Amazon’s offer for free shipping.

I have a Hoover Tempo bagged & could not locate belts in retail stores. Here on Amazon this was the recommended belt so I ordered some. These have a very tight fit & require some strength to replace. I think the tight fit is what makes the pick up more powerful. A belt lasts about 3 months with regular use. Amazon has them at an excellent price with free shipping so it pays to stock up. Shipping is extremely fast, too.
